The Pick n Pay Group is a retail business in the fast-moving consumer goods industry. We operate through multiple store formats, including supermarkets, clothing and liquor stores and an online platform. The Group trades under two main brands – Pick n Pay and Boxer. Our honorary life president and consumer champion Raymond Ackerman purchased the first four Pick n Pay stores in Cape Town, South Africa, in 1967. Today, the Group has 2 227 stores across South Africa, Botswana, eSwatini, Lesotho, Namibia, Nigeria, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
