Dear tenants, colleagues and precinct partners

Central Square Turns 1 on 21st September. We will be celebrating this on Saturday
23rd September with a fun entertainment programme with fun and prizes.

The entertainment programme is the culmination of a 3-week birthday build-up on social media
where we have had an overwhelming response to the daily give-aways. Participants have had to
answer a question, refer friends or give us views on Central Square in order to qualify. Please visit
the Central Square Menlyn Maine Facebook and Instagram platforms to get a feel for the many and
varied responses. Once the campaign is over we will compile the answers into a survey to glean some
useful comments about what comes positively to mind when we engage visitors on Central Square.

More about that later! This Saturday the main festivities commence at 11h50 – Yes, that’s ten to twelve.
The programme runs until approximately 13h30. Join us for the fun and sing happy birthday to us!
Encourage your customers to enjoy a front row seat at one of our restaurants and sit back for some
surprises that will delight. A radio campaign is currently running in order to get people here. Clowns,
stilt walkers and face painters will keep the li’l ones entertained until 15h00. It’s going to be a festive day.

Morgan Beatbox (South Africa’s #1 beatboxer) – remembering Youth Day. Winray Fortein from
On Que – the ever-talented and cool crooner that heralded in Christmas 2016. Latin Moves –
those gorgeous guys and gals who made the Valentine’s “Dances of Love” evening memorable.
Con Grazia Music – the highly skilled saxophone and violin players that added the sparkle to
Valentine’s Day. Sol Shibambu and the Bounce Jazz Quartet – the guys who made Vintage
Father’s Day a cool-n-classy event. They will perform a rotating show that will be engaging
and light-hearted. We are providing some seating on the piazza too so that visitors can sit
down and enjoy the festivities. And finally – a jolly big thank you to all our tenants, staff
and partners who have been working so hard at making the first year at Central Square
Menlyn Maine a big year for all of us.

Entrants are to answer the question asked or fulfil the request made as per Facebook and Instagram. Prizes will be awarded either as gift cards or gifts as supplied by retail stores in Central Square, Menlyn Maine. Prizes cannot be exchanged for cash. Winners are announced weekly. The final competition takes place on 23^rd September 2017. Gift cards may only be redeemed at Central Square stores as specified. Winners will be notified via Inbox and an announcement will be made on social media announcing winners. Prizes can be collected at Centre Management Monday to Friday between 09h00 and 16h00. Identification must be produced by the winner in order to collect a prize. Gift cards expire on 31^st December 2017 and must be redeemed on or before that date. No claim by any winner subsequent to this date will be permitted. No correspondence will be entered into with judges. Where appropriate, software is used to select winners. Staff and agencies of Central Square are not eligible to enter. Winners may only win in one category.
